Samsung India expanded its lineup of C series smartphones with the Galaxy C9 Pro earlier this year. Launched at Rs 36,900, it comes with a massive 4,000mAh battery, 6-inch screen, and 6GB of RAM. Five months after the official announcement, Samsung India has reduced the price of the Galaxy C9 Pro by Rs 5,000. As a result, it is now up for grabs at Rs 31,900.
Specs-wise, the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro has a 6.0-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display. The screen, however, lacks support for S Pen (the in-house stylus that has earned quite a name for itself, thanks to Samsung’s flagship Galaxy Note lineup).
Furthermore, it gets a 16-megapixel autofocus rear camera alongside LED flash. Up front, there is a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. Inside are 6GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. One can expand the storage up to 256GB using a microSD card.
The phone comes with two Nano SIM slots but lacks a dedicated microSD support. Hence, one needs to use either two SIM cards or one SIM card and a microSD card simultaneously. As for connectivity, it offers a dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The phone also embraces a standard set of sensors such as the accelerometer, fingerprint, gyro, geomagnetic, proximity, and RGB light.
