Jaguar will soon be introducing the XE SV Project 8 sedan, a limited edition XE model. There is no denying that the Jaguar XE is a good car. In India, it comes in two models: petrol and diesel, holding up to 2.0-litre capacity which is decent.
However, Jaguar Land Rover’s SVO (Super Vehicle Operations) division said it will announce a new model that will have a 5.0-litre V8 engine putting out around 600 horsepower. Now that’s impressive!
According to Jaguar Land Rover SOV, this is going to be “the most extreme, agile and mental XE sedan ever!” What’s more, it will be the second vehicle in the company’s collector’s edition beside the F-Type Project 7 from a few years ago.
Similar to 2014’s F-Type, the XE SV Project 8 will be a limited edition. The automaker will manufacture limited 300 examples around the world at Jaguar’s facility in Coventry, England.
Jaguar is expected to come up with more details on June 30 during the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
